Promoting Nonviolence

We're not concerned about who you voted for or if you voted all, What matter's now is that we all work together to weaken the pillars that are supporting the authoritarian regime and build a democracy that works for everyone. This isn't about being left or right, this is about being an American.

Promoting Nonviolence

Erica Chenoweth and Maria Stephan's research on 323 movements over many decades shows us that nonviolent civil resistance campaigns attract a larger number of people due to a much lower barrier to participate compared with using violence. Their research also shows us that we need about 3.5% of our population to become active in the movement and there are many ways for us all to contribute.

To help us all maintain our commitment to nonviolence, Indivisible Justice For All offers workshops so we can learn and practice de-escalating tensions when we see things getting heated.

Electoral Engagement

Engaging in Local Government

A TOP PRIORITY for all of us this year will be our midterm elections. We need to:

  • knock on doors, make phones calls, postcards etc so we can  help defend the seat held by democrat Rep Bynum who defeated a republican during the last election
  • team up with other organizations all over the country to lend a hand on important races so we can have a democratic majority in both the house and senate that'll push back against Trump and Project 2025

Engaging in Local Government

Engaging in Local Government

Part of building community, is knowing what's going on in the community and state level government.

Oregon's 2026 Legislative Session ends with some wins and some incredible disappointments too.

Here is opb's summary

Countering Support for Trump

A vital part of the successful overturning of authoritarian and dictatorships is BUILDING COMMUNITY.

Indivisible Justice For All is committed to learning about the peaceful ways to take down the pillars that are necessary for authoritarian regimes and then teach other people who'll go on to teach even more people. It's going to take millions of us all working together to dissuade the pillars that are supporting authoritarianism.
